Say Hello to Tara Halverson of Kids Fitness Together
Tara Halverson is a teacher and kids fitness instructor with over twenty years of experience. She spent over 15 of those years as the Member Services and Children’s Programming Director at a community health club, until it closed in 2021.
Starting a Business from Scratch
Tara knew she wanted to continue teaching and building community with the families she had gotten to know and love. And while she was a gifted and experienced teacher, starting a business was another thing entirely.
“I love the work I do. Designing programming that teaches children to embrace movement and fitness is my passion! When I was part of a health club, I was able to teach, plus had the logistical support necessary to offer the classes to families. Without that structure, it all felt overwhelming.”
Tara was able to launch her business, Kids Fitness Together, in 2022. A Sparkle Site gave her an instant presence on the web - a place for her to share her social media sites, promote her classes, and easily collect payment. She was able to get started right away.
From an Idea to a Business
In the past year, Tara has grown Kids Fitness Together from an idea to a full-scale business. She offers weekly kids yoga, tumbling and fitness classes. She uses We Sparkle to share all her registration links, and social media platforms. She is also able to organize her contacts in one place with our lightweight CRM.
